DESCRIPTION
- STP Diesel Injector Cleaner is specially formulated to remove varnish, carbon deposits and water from diesel fuel systems, therefore preventing poor performance, corrosion and fuel wastage. The highly concentrated combination of detergent, dispersant and stabilizer will maintain efficiency and lower operating costs for diesel engines. STP Diesel Injector Cleaner also helps prevent fuel flow problems in cold weather, and contains a cetane improver to enhance cold start performance.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
STP Diesel Injector Cleaner keeps the fuel system clean.
- Diesel engines produce exhaust smoke as the fuel system gets dirty. This can happen quickly, even in a new car, through the rapid build up of deposits, particularly from short stop-and-go trips.
- Injectors are designed to deliver a precisely measured mist of fuel into the combustion chamber (see Image 1), but a dirty injector will disrupt this fine pattern into a course, intermittent stream, and can even stop the flow of fuel to the engine.
- Combustion deposits such as varnish and water can also plug the fuel filter. These conditions result in poor starting, rough idling, poor combustion, hesitation or power loss under acceleration, stalling, loss of fuel economy and increased emissions
- STP Diesel Injector Cleaner removes power robbing deposits from the injectors (Image 2) and keeps tem clean, and reduces exhaust smoke, noxious emissions and fuel consumption. The dispersant carries all deposits through the combustion chambers and out of the exhaust system.
- STP Diesel Injector Cleaner passes water and protects against rust and corrosion.
- Diesel fuels can contain potentially harmful amounts of water as a result of condensation and sometimes contamination. Water in the fuel system can cause poor engine performance, rust and corrosion, and, in cold weather, fuel-line freeze.
- The emulsifiers in STP Diesel Injector Cleaner is designed to pick up controlled amounts of water molecules and harmlessly pass them through the engine, suspended in the fuel, and out through the exhaust system. The rust and corrosion inhibitors contained within STP Diesel Injector Cleaner protect the internal fuel system surfaces (as shown in Image 3). A detergent efficiently cleans deposits, varnish and sludge from the metal surfaces of the engine, neutralizing acids formed by combustion and thus reducing corrosion.
- STP Diesel Injector Cleaner enhances cold start performance of the engine.
- Cetan enhancer provided in STP Diesel Injector Cleaner minimizes the friction between the molecules in order to decrease the possibility of not combusting of the engine and improve the operation of the engine and also prevents the fuel line getting gel with a special cool flow improver.
DIRECTIONS
- One 250ml bottle of STP Diesel Injector Cleaner is sufficient for 40-50 liters of diesel. The whole bottle should be added directly to a full tank. For best results use every 2000 km.
