DESCRIPTION
- Metylan Paint Remover is a methylene chloride based modern and effective paint remover; it can be cleaned with water.
APPLICATION FIELDS
- With its viscous and gel formula, it can be used both on vertical and horizontal urfaces. It penetrates deeply in surfaces, on which thick paint has been applied, and removes the paint without damaging the surface. It can be washed with water; there is no need for a thinner to clean it. With Metylan Paint Remover, oil based paints, emulsion, synthetic paints, lacquers, shellac and plastic coatings, owen and polyurethane paints, tar and other coatings, cellulose, acrylic and synthetic automobile paints can be removed rapidly, safely and easily. It is used on wood, metal, plaster and concrete surfaces.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Prior to application, remove any metal and removable parts where possible. Apply Metylan Paint Remover with a brush completely immersed in it. The time required for complete penetration depends on the thickness and elasticity of the paint to be removed. In general, 5 to 20 minutes is sufficient. It should be checked if Metylan Paint Remover is completely in contact with bare surface, by applying it onto a small surface by using a spatula beforehand. If required, a second layer should be applied onto the first layer. Scrap the paint with a broad blade scraper. On large surfaces, a high pressure of water (70 kg / cm2) or scrubbing brush would be more effective. After the surface is stripped completely, it should be cleaned thoroughly with cold water and detergent. On fine wood or wood coatings, it is recommended to wash with white sprit, instead of water. Repainting application should be commenced after the surface dries completely.
CAUTION
- BOILING POINT OF THIS PRODUCT IS 35OC. OPEN ITS COVER VERY CAREFULLY AND USE GLOVES DURING OPERATION AND BE CAREFUL NOT TO CONTACT WITH EYES
- Open the cover gently and carefully, keep it away from eyes, keep out of the reach of the children. Keep the container tightly closed when you do not use it. Place it at upright position when storing. Rinse thoroughly with water in case of contact with eyes and skin. Consult to your doctor in case of contact with eyes. Metylan Paint Remover damages rubber, linoleum, polystyrene, plastic or vinyl floor coverings, glass, fiber, asphalt, man made fiber, Plexiglas, motorcycle cap and watch glasses. It is not suitable for cleaning paints on garments.
